The Museum of the Opole Countryside in Opole-Bierkowice is one of the most interesting open-air museums in Silesia. On the site of a former village, historic wooden buildings from all over the Opole region have been brought together: cottages, farmsteads, granaries, windmills and a smithy. The true gem of the exhibition is the wooden church from Gręboszów, built in 1613. We have created a mobile app that lets you explore the open-air museum at your own pace. The recordings tell of the everyday life, work and customs of the inhabitants of the Opole countryside, and at each successive building reveal its history and purpose.
