The Church of St Adalbert is one of the oldest churches in Wrocław, linked since the 13th century with the Dominican Order, whose friars still run the monastery here today. Adjoining the church is the Baroque chapel of Blessed Ceslaus (Czesław) – a Dominican, founder of the order's Silesian province and patron of the city, who, according to tradition, defended Wrocław against the Mongol invasion in 1241. The audio guide app, available on the App Store and Google Play, lets you explore the church on your own. Professional voice-over recordings tell the history of the church and of the Order of Preachers, while descriptions of the key points of the interior help you discover its architecture and treasures.
