This is another walk through Cieszyn Silesia. In Kończyce Wielkie, in the Hażlach commune, stands the charming wooden Church of St Michael the Archangel from 1777 – the largest wooden church in the region. Nearby we will find an impressive palace with a chapel and a park, whose last owner was Countess Gabriela Thun von Hohenstein, known as the “Good Lady”. We prepared an audio tour that sets off from the centre of Hażlach: you drive to Kończyce Wielkie by car and continue on foot. The route leads from the church to the cemetery with the countess's grave and on to the palace, and the story also covers the history of the village and the oldest pedunculate oaks in Silesia. The tour is available in Polish.
