Lisowice is a small village in the Pawonków municipality in Silesia that has become world-famous for its extraordinary paleontological discoveries. The Paleontological Museum, open here since 2008, displays fossils more than 200 million years old from the Late Triassic – including the remains of Lisowicia bojani, a giant dicynodont, and of the first predatory dinosaur discovered in Poland, named the Wawel Dragon (Smok wawelski). The audio guide will take you through the museum's exhibition and help you understand what the world these prehistoric animals lived in looked like. It is a great way to combine learning with adventure – for adults and young dinosaur fans alike.
