Regionalne Centrum Edukacji o Pamięci w Tarnowie

Tarnów

The Regionalne Centrum Edukacji o Pamięci (Regional Centre for Remembrance Education) in Tarnów is a branch of the District Museum in Tarnów, opened in 2021. Its mission is to restore and pass on the memory of difficult chapters of Polish history, with particular emphasis on the history of the Home Army (Armia Krajowa) units that operated in the region. The audio guide helps visitors explore the exhibition at their own pace and better understand the fates of the people whose stories it tells. It is a place well worth visiting both individually and with a school group.
