Did you know that the history of the Warsaw stock exchange goes back more than two hundred years? The Za Głosem Giełdy (Following the Voice of the Exchange) city game, created by the GPW Foundation and the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), shows how closely the exchange is tied to the capital. The route starts at Piłsudski Square, where the first exchange was housed in the Saxon Palace, and ends at the current GPW headquarters on Książęca Street. Along the way, at the successive former seats of the exchange and institutions linked to the capital market, the story is told by a stockbroker of old. The free app, available on Google Play and the App Store, turns a walk of about an hour and a half into an educational adventure – on your own, with family, friends or your class.
