Dolina Zajęcza (Hare Valley) is a wooded valley in Gdańsk, right next to the headquarters of the Trójmiejski Park Krajobrazowy (Tricity Landscape Park), accessible from Polanki Street. A short educational trail, about one kilometre long, has been laid out here, with a brown hare as your guide. Along the way, you learn about the landforms, trees, birds and amphibians that inhabit the park. The trail was designed with everyone in mind – including wheelchair users and blind and deaf visitors. Murals, information boards, tactile bas-reliefs and a map are complemented by a mobile app launched via QR codes, which turns the walk into an engaging open-air nature lesson.
