The Municipal Cultural Centre in Olkusz (Miejski Ośrodek Kultury w Olkuszu) looks after three remarkable collections. The African Museum gathers objects from the everyday life of the tribes of West and Central Africa. The historic Machnicki Manor House presents the work of Władysław Wołkowski, known as “the Michelangelo of wicker”. The collection of minerals and fossils reveals the treasures of the Olkusz area and the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The audio guide leads you through the rooms of all three collections, describing the exhibits one by one. You can download the app from the App Store and Google Play and explore on your own, at your own pace.
