Miasto Kazimierzowskie (Casimir’s Town) is one of the oldest parts of Radom, founded by King Casimir the Great in 1350 or 1351. Its heart is the Market Square, and its main street is Rwańska. Under the Jagiellonian dynasty Radom was an important centre of the kingdom: in 1505 the parliament meeting here passed the Nihil novi constitution. We prepared an audio tour of Radom’s historic district. The recordings lead visitors past its monuments and tell the story of the town, and the route can be walked at your own pace. The audio guide is available in Polish and English.
