Wadowice is not only the hometown of John Paul II, but also a place with a rich Galician history. The Szlak Galicyjskie Wadowice (Galician Wadowice Trail) links 13 sites connected with the town's past, letting you discover them from a completely new perspective. A Galician cab driver guides you from one point on the trail to the next. The app, available on the App Store and Google Play in Polish, English and German, is based on geolocation – it plots a route to the selected site and automatically plays the commentary when you arrive. The descriptions are complemented by photos, and the whole experience is enriched by an outdoor game.
