The Park Krajobrazowy “Mierzeja Wiślana” (Vistula Spit Landscape Park) was established in 1985 on the narrow strip of land between the Baltic Sea and the Vistula Lagoon. The park covers about 44 km² in Nowy Dwór County and lies entirely within the Natura 2000 network. We created a mobile app for Android phones – a tourist and nature guide to the park and its buffer zone. The app presents the park’s history, its flora and fauna and its tourist attractions, and with GPS and a map it makes it easier to find your way around. Near the forest car park in Piaski, visitors can play a quest about the landscape and natural values of the Spit.
