The Holy Father John Paul II Family Home (Dom Rodzinny Ojca Świętego Jana Pawła II) is located in a townhouse at 7 Kościelna Street in Wadowice. Karol Wojtyła was born in a first-floor flat here on 18 May 1920 and lived in the building until 1938, when he moved to Kraków with his father. The museum has been open here since 1984. We created a mobile app for Android and iOS phones that works as an audio guide to the museum, and we also supplied an audio guide system. The recordings lead visitors through the exhibition – from the Wojtyła family’s former flat with its family mementoes to the rooms presenting the life and work of Karol Wojtyła – John Paul II. The audio guide is available in Polish, English, Ukrainian, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Slovak and Hungarian, as well as in a version with audio description for blind and partially sighted visitors.
