The Kasztel w Szymbarku (Szymbark Castle) is a Renaissance fortified manor house, built in the 16th century as the seat of the Gładysz family of the Gryf coat of arms. It gained its present appearance – with four corner turrets, a high attic and remnants of sgraffito decoration – around 1590. Today it is a branch of the Muzeum Dwory Karwacjanów i Gładyszów (Karwacjan and Gładysz Manors Museum) in Gorlice. We created an audio guide in the form of a mobile app that takes visitors around the manor. The recordings present the history of the building and its former owners, and the tour can be taken at your own pace. The audio guide is available in Polish and English.
