Lipnica Murowana is a former royal town in Bochnia County, granted town rights in 1326 by King Władysław the Elbow-high. Its most precious monument is the 15th-century wooden Church of St Leonard, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2003. Lipnica also has the parish Church of St Andrew – the oldest and largest of the town’s churches – and the Church of St Simon, built on the site of the saint’s family home. We created a mobile app for Android and iOS phones that tells the history of all three churches. The recordings let visitors explore them at their own pace.
