The Jesus Church in Cieszyn (Kościół Jezusowy) is the largest Lutheran church in Poland. It was built as one of the so-called Grace Churches under the Convention of Altranstädt – the foundation stone was laid in 1710. The late Baroque building can hold about 7,000 people, and for decades it was the only Protestant church within a radius of several dozen kilometres. We created a mobile app for Android and iOS phones that works as an audio guide to the Jesus Church and the Museum of Protestantism. The recordings present the history of the church and of Cieszyn’s Protestant community. The audio guide is available in Polish, English, German, Czech and Slovak, as well as with audio description for blind and partially sighted visitors.
