The Treblinka I Labour Camp in Wólka Okrąglik was a penal labour camp set up by the Germans during the Second World War. Prisoners were forced to work here extracting gravel in a nearby gravel pit. Today the site of the former camp is part of the Treblinka Museum – a place of remembrance that commemorates the victims and the tragic history of this land. The mobile audio guide app lets you explore the grounds of the former camp on your own. The commentary presents its history and the fate of the prisoners, helping you understand the significance of this place. You can download the app from the App Store and Google Play.
