Archikatedra św.Jana Chrzciciela i św.Jana Ewangelisty w Lublinie
Lublin
The Archikatedra św. Jana Chrzciciela i św. Jana Ewangelisty (Archcathedral of St John the Baptist and St John the Evangelist) is one of the largest churches in Lublin and an important example of the Baroque in the Lublin region. It was built for the Jesuits between 1586 and 1625 and has served as a cathedral since 1805. The interior is decorated with illusionistic frescoes from 1757 by Józef Meyer, court painter to Augustus III. We prepared audio guide recordings that lead visitors around the archcathedral and present its history and decoration. They allow visitors to explore the church at their own pace.
