Zachęta – National Gallery of Art is one of the most important art institutions in Poland. Its stately building on Małachowski Square in Warsaw, erected at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, has been showing art for more than a hundred years – once mainly by Polish masters, today above all contemporary work. It was here, in 1922, that President Gabriel Narutowicz was assassinated. The audio guide helps you discover both the history of the building itself and the works on display. The narration explains the context of the works and introduces the artists, bringing art closer and making it easier to understand.
