On the grounds of the “Ruptawa” treatment plant in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, the local water and sewage company, Jastrzębski Zakład Wodociągów i Kanalizacji, runs its Ecological Education Centre, and next to it the “River of Knowledge” educational trail, shaped like the natural course of a river. Along its meanders, learning stations devoted to water, environmental protection, sustainable development and renewable energy sources await.
