Filipów is a large village and municipal seat located west of Suwałki. The village is crossed by the Rospuda River, which meanders picturesquely here. This place, attractive to tourists, is being promoted by the Suwałki Chamber of Agriculture and Tourism, which initiated the creation of a unique audio guide for this purpose.The audio guide shows you around Filipów, stopping at its most interesting points. As befits a former town, the tour starts near a square resembling a market square. Then we stroll towards the church and learn about the multi-religious history of the village, including an interesting thread devoted to the Mariavites. The tour ends at a monument commemorating the battle between Polish troops and the Swedes during the so-called "Deluge".
