“...I will not forget this quiet haven among the mountains, in a land laughing with glowing noons...” – assured Melchior Wańkowicz. Jaworze, at the foot of the Silesian Beskids, is a once highly regarded health resort, founded in the 19th century by the Saint Genois family and famous for its whey cures. Its guests included Maria Dąbrowska, Jan Parandowski and Julian Tuwim. We prepared an audio tour of the Spa Park, which holds reminders of the former resort. The route leads from the amphitheatre through the park, past the Church of Divine Providence and the Saint Genois palace, to the Lutheran church, with a suggestion to climb Goruszka hill with its gloriette. The tour is available in Polish.
